UTeM Press is the official publishing unit of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM),   established to support the university’s vision as a premier technical institution. As the   university’s publishing arm, UTeM Press plays a vital role in producing high-quality   scholarly, educational, and technical materials in line with the university’s goal of   becoming a center of knowledge excellence.

UTeM Press is responsible for various aspects of publishing, including manuscript   management, editing, translation, and printing, ensuring that published works meet   national and international standards. Additionally, UTeM Press is committed to leveraging   information and communication technology (ICT) to enhance the quality of publications,   both in print and digital formats.

As a leader in scholarly publishing, UTeM Press provides a platform for researchers,   academics, and students to share their findings with the wider community. Furthermore,   UTeM Press offers advisory services and expertise in scholarly publishing, graphic design,   and multimedia to support the academic growth of the university and the global   community.

Objective

Our Objectives:

1. Managing manuscripts and coordinating the publication of scholarly works with the imprint of the University Press in accordance with publishing standards to achieve quality recognized by MAPIM and the nation.

2. Undertaking publishing tasks for print and digital media, including the editing of scholarly materials and audio-visual content, translation, printing, and distribution to the university community and the general public.

3. Providing consultancy services in the evaluation and selection of multimedia equipment as well as sharing expertise in scholarly publishing, graphic design, and multimedia. Promoting writing and translation to produce materials with academic value for teaching and learning purposes through courses and seminars.

4. Disseminating information more effectively, creatively, and innovatively through the use of information and communication technology in publishing.
