DIRECTOR WELCOME NOTE
Assalamualaikum w.b.t.
UTeM Press is a center entrusted by the university in the publication of scholarly manuscripts that written by UTeM’s staffs. Our goal is to be a source of reference that benificial for all through scholarly and creative books that we have publish.
The UTeM Press also always ensure the quality of writing and publication is guaranteed by establishing good relations with the Perbadanan Kota Buku, Institut Terjemahan Buku Negara, Majlis Penerbitan Buku Ilmiah Malaysia (MAPIM), Malaysian Book Publishers Association (MABOPA) and several other government agencies. It also aims to improve the existing quality of publication as well as the standard of services we provide.
Starting in 2017, the university has decided to centralize all printing activities including binding at UTeM Press, thus adding to the existing function where UTeM Press can print their own books and this service is also open to outsiders. Indirectly, it can benefit not only the staff and students but also the surrounding population.
Until the year 2023, UTeM Press has received numerous prestigious awards. These accolades are the result of high-quality writing and collaboration from everyone involved in publishing scholarly materials. Hopefully, with this effort, it will further enhance the publishing outcomes at UTeM and contribute to the scholarly landscape in Malaysia.
